From January 26, 2022, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO is offering a special selection of treats for the Valentine’s Day (February 14) and White Day (March 14) season.

With De Cacao, guests can trace the journey of cacao from the raw ingredient to its end result as chocolate, fully exploring the delicious potential the bean has—all on one plate.

Alongside a richly flavored chocolate cake by renowned Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini, De Cacao includes juice made from the cacao pulp whose qualities and potential were long neglected, and raw cacao nibs, which are pieces of cacao beans neither roasted nor ground, and enjoyed just as nature made them.

The Garage space on the ground floor features a tree-themed café with LED lighting inspired by the Japanese cherry blossom. Try the De Cacao plate at INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO and feel how spring is just around the corner.

This is a unique bean-to-bar experience, resonating with the LEXUS commitment to materials, manufacturing processes, and craftsmanship.

The same Pierre Marcolini chocolate cake from the De Cacao set is also available to purchase as takeout (limited to 50 cakes only).

Cacao Pulp Juice

This juice is made from 100% cacao pulp with no artificial sweeteners or additives. Boasting a thick texture balanced by its slightly bitter taste that is refreshingly sharp, the juice captures the full flavor of cacao as a tropical fruit.

Raw Cacao Nibs

The germ and husk are removed from cacao beans (seeds), which are then usually roasted and ground to form the raw ingredient for making chocolate. But these raw cacao nibs are unground beans, fermented and dried to offer you the chance to try the truly natural taste of cacao and its fruity, nutty fragrance.

This chocolate cake is made by leading Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini. The richly textured and moist cake is complemented by foamy whipped cream.
