Tatsuya Kushima & Friends Talk Vol. 1

Well known as a motoring journalist and editor of the magazine MADURO, the multitalented Tatsuya Kushima will invite guests from his wide personal circle of friends for a series of special talks at INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO.

At the inaugural event, Kushima will be joined by Shinsuke Suzuki, president and representative director of zetton, whose wide-ranging enterprises include restaurants, cafés, bars, and wedding services. Together they will share unique insights and anecdotes about makes someone “cool.”

Tatsuya Kushima
Motoring journalist and columnist / Member, Automobile Journalists Association of Japan / Judge, Japan Car of the Year 2017–18 / Judge, Japan Boat of the Year / Member, Japan Cigar Association

Born in 1964 in Jiyuugaoka, Tokyo, Tatsuya Kushima started his career in a foreign advertising agency before switching to the car magazine industry. After serving as deputy editor-in-chief of Car EX (Sekai Bunka) and American SUV & European SUV & Wagon (Ei Publishing) magazines, he turned freelance. He later worked as deputy editor-in-chief of the men’s magazine LEON (Shufu to Seikatsu Sha) and editor-in-chief of the golf free paper go! gol. (Par Golf). He is currently editor-in-chief of PASSIONE, the Japanese-language inflight magazine for Alitalia, as well as publisher and editor-in-chief of the men’s magazine MADURO. Alongside his work as a motoring journalist, he is a prolific columnist writing about fashion, travel, golf, cigars, and boats. He is also involved in developing products as a creative producer.

Shinsuke Suzuki
President and Representative Director, zetton inc.

Born in 1971 in Gifu, Shinsuke Suzuki graduated from Aichi University. After college, he initially aspired to be a judicial scrivener before abandoning this ambition to enter zetton around the time it was founded. He is currently involved in developing various kinds of branded restaurants as well as the Hawaiian-themed café ALOHA TABLE, and wedding business Heritage Bridal Collection. His interests include triathlons, champagne, and cigars.
