To celebrate the release in Japan of the Luc Besson science fiction epic Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO will offer an exclusive Valerian-themed drink between March 6th and March 26th.

Based on the legendary French comic Valérian and Laureline, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is the incredible story of a team of two agents and their adventures in space battling a conspiracy that threatens all life in the universe.

“Sky”, the drink available at INTERSECT, is inspired by the SKYJET, a single-seat spacecraft designed by LEXUS that makes a memorable appearance in the movie. The cocktail incorporates visually shifting elements from the film, such as the pearls produced by the fictional Mül converter as well as the titular planets. The space station Alpha where the two agents work is an amazing city inhabited by countless species and interconnected worlds. This is recreated in the cocktail by honey in the bottom of the glass and dragée, which floats up and down inside the soda.

The SKYJET featured in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets will also be on exhibit in the downstairs Garage space. Experience up-close this revolutionary vision of futuristic technology and design by LEXUS that just may be how we travel around the universe in the 28th century.
