World Marketing Summit Japan 2014 Welcome Party

9.23 Tue 19:00 START

Marketing leaders from around the world gathered at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Tokyo for the two-day World Marketing Summit Japan. To kick off the summit, a special party was held on September 23rd at INTERSCT BY LEXUS – TOKYO, welcoming some 20 figures from the international marketing industry, including Philip Kotler, along with around 30 business peers from Japan.

The World Marketing Summit Japan Council’s Kozo Takaoka (President and Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé Japan Ltd.) hosted the guests for the two-hour mixer event at INTERSECT, ahead of the summit that took place over the following two days.

The World Marketing Summit was founded in 2010 by Philip Kotler, hailed as the “father of modern marketing” and currently S. C. Johnson Distinguished Professor of International Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

The annual summit aspires to create a better world through marketing, and attracts prominent personalities from international organizations, government, academia, and the private sector.

At the heart of the forum is a commitment to engaging with marketing not simply as a corporate tool, but as a way to contribute to social progress. This vision is shared by LEXUS, one of the sponsors of the World Marketing Summit Japan 2014.
