On March 20th, Lexus hosted a cocktail party at INTERSECT BY LEXUS in partnership with Black List, Tokyo’s premier private event hosting company. Black List parties are exclusive to its 8,000 members and their closest friends, connecting Tokyo’s top executives, celebrities, and high-end press members. Over four consecutive years, Black List has been highlighted in the Louis Vuitton City Guide as hosting Tokyo’s most select parties.
The theme for the evening was “Exciting Moment,” as expressed through motor sports and luxury lifestyle. Each floor of INTERSECT BY LEXUS was harnessed to offer a different unique ambience for the guests.
Renowned Lexus race driver James Rossiter posed for photos with each guest on arrival on the first floor, while official Black List sponsor Tattinger provided welcome champagne. The ground floor GARAGE space showcased the LEXUS RC F GT500, which Rossiter is driving in the Super GT 2015 season.
Guests were entertained on the second floor by the resident DJ and live violin, saxophone and percussion music.
Meanwhile, in the intimate basement clubroom, guests danced to a chic soundtrack mixed by a private DJ.
MC Clara Bodin joined Rossiter to introduce one of the evening’s highlights, the raffle. Prizes included a special dinner for two at INTERSECT BY LEXUS, and an exclusive, behind–the–scenes pass for two for the LEXUS area at the second round of the SUPER GT 2015 tour.
Other special guests included LEXUS racing driver Daisuke Ito, Nobuhide Tachi from LEXUS TEAM PETRONAS TOM’S, and TV presenter Christel Takigawa. The party continued online too, thanks to the buzz generated by Rossiter’s personal tweets and guests’ Instagram posts hashtagged #INTERSECT.
Guests enjoyed all these exciting moments offered by a fusion of racing and festivity at an international hub in Tokyo’s fashionable Aoyama district.
