Reservations for a special Christmas dinner course at INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO open on December 5th.
Each year, INTERSECT serves incredible Christmas dinner experiences for guests in partnership with top chefs who share the same ethos of craftsmanship as LEXUS. For 2018, the course will be created by Yusuke Takada of the French restaurant La Cime, located in the Honmachi area of Osaka. Takada will oversee a very special kind of Christmas meal, carefully exploring ingredients and selecting the ideal seasonal items with the bold imagination of a chef not afraid to break free from the conventional rules of French cooking. The result is a set of Christmas dishes that conjure up unique and remarkable tastes. Diners can also enjoy original drink pairings to accompany their meal.
For each of the three days when the dinner course is served, a LEXUS flagship sedan LS500h pick-up and drop-off service is available by reservation for groups of three. A LS500h vehicle will pick up guests from a location of their choosing, transport them to INTERSECT BY LEXUS for their meal, and then drop them off after they have finished.
Experience truly luxury hospitality this Christmas.

La Cime’s Yusuke Takada
Born in June 1977 on the southern island of Amami Oshima, Yusuke Takada was inspired by a TV show he watched while at elementary school to take an interest in cooking. He graduated from the renowned Tsuji Chef School, after which he worked at French and Italian restaurants in Osaka before moving to France in 2007. In Paris, he trained at Taillevent and Le Meurice, both Michelin three-star restaurants, before returning to Japan in 2009. He opened La Cime in 2010, achieving a Michelin star as early as 2012. This was then increased to two stars in 2016, a feat repeated in 2017. In 2018, the restaurant made its debut at the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards at number 17 and also won the Highest New Entry Award. In addition, he is attracting attention in the restaurant world for his efforts with cultivating emerging talent, such as the winner of this year’s prestigious Young Chef competition. He previously collaborated with LEXUS for the Dining Out Uchiko with LEXUS 2017 event held in the town of Uchiko in Ehime Prefecture.
