One of the first things people notice about INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO is the bamboo facade.
Designed by Masamichi Katayama (Wonderwall Inc.), the striking wall is created out of interlocking LEXUS spindle grilles. This facade of wooden spindle grilles keeps INTERSECT supplied with plenty of natural light.
The open yet chic look of the facade also ensures INTERSECT fits in perfectly with the surrounding Aoyama neighborhood, which is famed for its leisurely pace and stylish architecture.
You can find other spindle grilles subtly integrated into the INTERSECT space, from the saucers used in the Café to one of the cocktails served in the Bistro.
There are many others, so be sure to look out for them when you visit.
