On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO celebrates its tenth anniversary. To mark this milestone and show its gratitude for the support it has received from guests and collaborators, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO is presenting an exhibition that traces the evolution of Lexus over the past decade as well as offers a selection of special food and drink.

People. Food. Design. Art. Technology. INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO has brought together talent and ideas from different industries and fields to provide enriching moments for our guests, and the content of its tenth anniversary celebration embodies such experiences.

A “time machine” appears in the ground-floor Garage space, allowing guests to relive the past ten years of Lexus as well as its future aspirations and evolution. Embark on a journey that tells the story of the Lexus brand as if you are watching the scenery flow through the windows of a car. It begins with the boundless commitment to making ever better cars that led to the LFA, the origin of the unique Lexus Driving Signature. The journey shows events such as INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO opening as a hub to offer guests a sense of Lexus and the lifestyles it embodies, and model launches that showcase Lexus taking on challenges to realize a carbon neutral society and create vehicles that meet the diversifying needs of our customers. All of these lead up to the current Lexus brand today, continuing to push forward with "inheritance and evolution”.

The footage, photos, words, and dates that flow by in the car windows perhaps spark memories of your own. With dynamic visuals using motion graphics, the installation intuitively guides your mind to different times and experiences. Take a drive through not only the activities that Lexus has pioneered but back to your own past—and then on to the future!

For one month starting August 30, the INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO Bistro serves a dinner course celebrating the anniversary. The ten courses bring together carefully selected ingredients from eight regions all across Japan- from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the south, taking diners on a journey around the country without ever leaving the heart of Tokyo.

To accompany your meal, a drink pairing has been designed specifically for the courses. An anniversary cocktail is also available, which guests can customize and experiment with to change the flavors and fragrances. With their live presentation that sparks conversations between guests, these food and drink offerings each conjure up one-of-a-kind moments.

INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO’s popular Amazing Anpan, which is created in collaboration with renowned bakery Ginza Kimuraya, will be offered in a special anniversary version for a limited time only. The Amazing Decade Anpan features a memorable design that transforms even the simple and familiar act of eating a bread roll into a unique experience.

This cocktail pairs a commemorative lemonade with red wine and an original liqueur blending ten flavors, including Japanese fruits, shiso, and basil. Guests can mix the two drinks as they like, savoring the tastes, fragrances, colors, and shifting radiance they create. A nonalcoholic mocktail version is also available.

Amazing Decade Anpan

This special roll with a cream cheese filling is made with traditional Japanese sourdough from Ginza Kimuraya. The roll is stamped with an “AMAZING DECADE” message on top. Only 30 rolls are available each day.
