The INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO ground floor Garage hosts the “LEXUS Listening Drive | Ryuichi Sakamoto” Exhibition from April 1st to May 9th.

This exclusive partnership between LEXUS and the internationally acclaimed composer Ryuichi Sakamoto creates a unique musical experience fusing the sounds of async, Sakamoto’s first new album in eight years, and noise of driving with the visual landscape seen from inside a moving car.

Visitors can listen to the album through the audio system of the new LEXUS LC coupe, which is on display in the Garage. Meanwhile, Sakamoto’s favorite Musik speakers fill the space with sounds recorded from an LC vehicle as it drove around Tokyo along a route chosen by Sakamoto. This crossover of the LEXUS and Sakamoto soundscapes forms a truly novel kind of music experience.

In addition, the screen wall displays a special Ryuichi Sakamoto video made for LEXUS as well as making-of footage.
