LEXUS LC from Marvel’s Black Panther and Special Tie-in Drink at INTERSECT
Ahead of the release in Japanese movie theaters of the Marvel superhero blockbuster Black Panther on March 1st, INTERSECT BY LEXUS – TOKYO will offer a special Black Panther tie-in drink from February 20th to March 5th.
Black Panther is the tale of T’Challa, a man who is both a superhero and king. He is sworn to defend the powerful Vibranium ore, a long-kept secret of technologically advanced nation of Wakanda. While dealing with the pressures that come with his duties as ruler, Black Panther must fight enemies both within and without who threaten to steal the Vibranium.
The latest from Marvel Studios is an action-packed, high-octane, and exciting epic with a mysterious new hero. The LEXUS flagship luxury coupe LC makes a thrilling appearance in the movie, becoming Black Panther’s mode of transport for chasing the forces of evil.
The Black Panther drink at INTERSECT is Change, which features a herb base inspired by the herb that Black Panther consumes to achieve his superhuman powers. In addition to lemongrass and rosemary, the drink uses syrup from butterfly pea (Asian pigeonwings) to recreate the deep blue of the LC. By stirring in the apple puree topping, this drink truly lives up to its name by transforming color.
Along with this unique tie-in drink, the LEXUS LC that inspired the Black Panther vehicle will be on display in the INTERSECT downstairs Garage space as well as the hero’s exhilarating car chase scene.
